Vacancies for Members of Bury Law Centre / Management Committee Members

We are always looking for new members of the Law Centre. We do ask you to fill in an application form and to read through the information about becoming a member that we have included in the form.

Once we receive your application form we will email you to confirm we have received it and we will let you know whether your application for membership is approved by the Management Committee.

Management Committee Members (a.k.a. Board Members) are elected from the Law Centre’s membership or can be

co-opted by the existing board where they feel that there is room for particular skills on the board to be strengthened.

The existing board includes members with skills and experience in the core areas that are required but the board does wish to strengthen and would be pleased to consider co-opting a person with any of the following skills and experience:

  • Accountancy / Finance skills
  • Knowledge of current social / legal Policy Issues
  • Skills / experience in charity fund raising
